You Look Fine exists to give voice to the invisible. For every stroke survivor, every invisible illness warrior, and every caregiver who has ever been dismissed, overlooked, or told they look great while quietly falling apart — you are seen here. You are not alone. And your battle is real.
Replace the hero background later by swapping assets/hero-placeholder.jpg with your own landscape photo.
For the people rebuilding after stroke, brain injury, invisible illness, chronic pain, fatigue, and the thousand things others cannot see.
For the spouses, families, and friends carrying fear, paperwork, appointments, and hope — often all at the same time.
For honest conversations, practical resources, and the kind of support that feels human instead of clinical.
Curt Barnum is a stroke survivor whose stroke was brushed off in the hospital with a basic finger-touch test. He waited six months for a physical therapy referral, found Origami Rehabilitation Brain Center in Mason, Michigan himself, lost his career as a Director, and rebuilt life on the road with his husband of 25 years.
Out of that pain came purpose: You Look Fine and Slow Miles Photography.
